MOE 燃炭火燒肉

If Moe seems like a really odd name for a barbeque joint, perhaps pronouncing it Mo – eh makes it sound more appropriate. The one I visited with family was small.
Regardless of the name, this chain BBQ place is classy on all levels at the $$$ price point in Taipei. This is the type of place one goes for special occasions.

I was treated to ‘Kobe style’ beef and seafood BBQ during this particular visit. We ordered a chef determined $1000 NTD per person dinner, and it was fantastic. (Not including alcohol of which they have some nice pricey Sakes to choose from amongst other local favorites).

My favorite were the outside skirt steak, rib cap, and rump roast. If none of those sound appetizing, trust me, its some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere near this price point.
