Lin Dongfang Beef Noodle – 林東芳牛肉麵

 This place has the best braised beef noodle soup I’ve had so far in Taipei.  It really is a hole in the wall, with very limited seating that has expanded indoor air conditioned seating next door.

Got the tofu appetizer based on their recommendation, but it was nothing special and you can skip that.

Price was also the best of all the beef noodles I’ve had so far.  The broth is legit, and you can smell it all the way down the street.  You see the broth being made as you walk in.  

The ‘small’ braised beef noodle was enough for me.
