This place is very well known in Taipei, and now worldwide with 17 locations. Word is that the original owners (husband and wife) split up, and the husband opened up this place and the wife opened up Monster Ice.
Smoothie house is known for their Mango Snowflake Ice dessert, part of which is pictured below.
We got the combo #9 though and Lychee (because Lychee is a very Taiwanese thing).
My favorite was the mango, and only the mango part of the snowflake ice in my combo. The other fruits the strawberry and kiwi, were both not that impressive, a bit too tart and didn’t taste quite ripe.
The Lychee was also good, but I could have done without the jelly. In fact, if I just had the lychee and mango together only that would have made a better combo. The mint was a nice touch on the lychee combo.
I saw a lot of happy customers, and consider myself one of them. Next time, I’d get #10 or try #7 with the green tea shaved ice. But overall, you really can’t go wrong with any of the selections, just make sure the fruit you choose is in season.
